Learning Technologies Conference 2023

28 May 2023
As the chair of the Learning Technologies Conference in London, I’m always delighted to chat with Rob Clarke of Learning News at the end of the event and look back over an eventful two days.
This year’s event, on May 3-4, was no exception. The big news was AI, although there was a huge gap between anticipation (lots of this) and delivery (precious little).
Our key priority in L&D, however, is not technology. It remains what it has been for the last 20 years: showing the value of what we do, and moving L&D from a discretionary spend to an integral part of the business. That depends not on technology, but on developing relationships with the business.
